Backlight Brightening AHA Toner

The liquid definition of "Iron fist, velvet glove", Backlight Brightening AHA Toner pulls your inner glow all the way out by deeply exfoliating in the gentlest of ways. Backlight combines four different Alpha Hydroxy Acids for showstopping results:

  • Lactic + Glycolic Acid: These heavy hitting AHA's chemically resurface the skin to eliminate both dullness and texture.

  • Malic Acid: A natural humectant trapping moisture in your skin, while eliminating hyperpigmentation and improving overall brightness.

  • Tartaric Acid: The wrecking ball of the crew, this acid breaks down the toughest layer of skin allowing the other acids to permeate for maximum exfoliation, but leaves behind a trove of antioxidants, ultimately balancing the skin's pH levels.

With regular use, Backlight Brightening AHA Toner will help address irregularities from post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and stimulate natural collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and scarring.

Organic Aloe Leaf Juice (Aloe Barbadensis), Glycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Organic Sugar Cane Extract (Saccharum Officinarum), Organic Bilberry Fruit Extract (Vaccinium Myrtillus), Organic Sugar Maple Extract (Acer Saccharinum), Organic Orange Peel Extract (Citrus Sinensis), Organic Lemon Peel Extract (Citrus Limon), Organic Cranberry Fruit Extract (Vaccinium Macrocarpon), Malic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Organic White Willow Bark Extract (Salix Alba), Tea Tree Leaf Oil (Melaleuca Alternifolia), Polysorbate 20, Organic Alcohol, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate

Apply after cleansing twice a week and work your way up to daily after assessing your skin's tolerance. With a cotton pad, sweep gently over face and neck. Follow with your favorite serums, moisturizer and sunscreen.
While we recommend this toner for nighttime use, it can be used in the daytime. However, this product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product during the day.
